Privacy Policy

RupeeVeda is built to work without collecting personal data. This policy explains what happens to the information you enter and what, if anything, leaves your device.

No accounts, no sign-up

You can use every calculator and read every guide without registering, logging in, or giving us your name, email or phone number. We do not sell or rent personal data — we do not hold any to sell.

Calculator inputs stay on your device

All calculations run in your browser. The amounts, rates and tenures you type are used only to display results and are not sent to our servers. Share links encode the inputs you choose to share in the URL itself; PDF reports, image cards and printed reports are generated locally in your browser.

Saved plans

"Save plan" stores your scenario in your browser's local storage on your own device. Nothing is uploaded. Clearing site data, using a different browser or device, or using private browsing will remove or hide saved plans. You can delete them at any time from the My Plans page.

Analytics and cookies

We do not set cookies for the core site. If we enable a privacy-conscious analytics tool (such as Google Analytics 4) it records aggregate, anonymised usage — for example which calculator page was viewed or that a calculation was completed. It is configured never to receive the financial values you enter. When analytics is active, the provider may set cookies under its own privacy policy; you can block them with your browser or a content blocker without affecting the calculators.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and requested page) for security and reliability. These logs are not combined with calculator inputs and are not used to identify individuals.

Third-party links

Guides link to official sources such as the RBI, SEBI, AMFI and the Income Tax Department. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Children

The site is intended for adults making personal-finance decisions. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we add features that change how data is handled — for example enabling analytics or advertising — we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
